“If you talk about it, it’s a dream, if you envision it, it’s possible, but if you schedule it, it’s real” -Tony Robbins
When it comes to myself, I know I need a schedule. If left to schedule my own tasks on a daily whim, you’d probably catch me doing a lot of things that aren’t productive. That’s why I believe success must be scheduled!
Many of the people around you would say “Adrian is ambitious, but unorganized” This was true and held me back from applying my talents efficiently to unlock more of my own potential. Over the last month and a half, I have practiced having an “agenda”. No longer when asked “what are you doing today, tomorrow, or next week” do I reply with a simple nothing much. That is a recipe for disaster. By scheduling myself accordingly it helps me to stay focused on the little tasks and habits necessary to get to where I want to go. My schedule is almost like a a detailed instruction manual for myself. It tells me what I need to be doing at what time to achieve my goals. With out it I was lost.
For example. No hyperbole here. In the last month and a half WITH a schedule, I’ve accomplished more than I have in the last TWO YEARS without one. My time is so efficiently used that I feel amazing too. I have time for family, friends, my business AND most importantly myself. I make progress every day and feel like there is nothing I can’t do. So the action step I suggest, is to make a schedule for yourself and stick to it. Again the most valuable things in life are relatively free (excluding the use of your time) so why not take a second to think of your future and plan a schedule to see towards it’s success? Think about all the social media time you spend online or time watching your favorite shows on a streaming platform. You could easily switch that to “YOU” time, which of course is way more valuable. You’re important and so is your schedule. So again take some time out of your busy day. Wake up 5 minutes earlier or go to bed 5 minutes later and think of where you want to be tomorrow. Schedule it. You will then be amazed at how much time you really have!
